Project Description
Rich & Pam’s Naperville Kitchen Remodel Pictures
Project Details
As you can see from the before and after pictures, this project took on a huge undertaking. From having to remove a loadbearing wall, creating a large walk-in pantry and a bar area, this kitchen is now the perfect space for entertaining guests. The bar area was very important to Rich, so making sure it flowed together nicely with the kitchen was an important aspect. To accomplish this, using a big black hood and a large black island helped bring black from the bar countertop and backsplash. Making sure the cabinetry was the same wood tone throughout was also very important to make sure the space compliment and flowed together nicely. To offset the heaviness of the wood cabinets using glass front cabinets, a panel on the beverage refrigerator and floating shelves in the bar area helped keep this space open and not too heavy.
