Project Overview

A Transitional, Organic Kitchen in Brentwood

Sebring Design Build transformed this Brentwood kitchen by removing angled walls and soffits to create an open, organic space built on CWP Swiss Coffee and Hickory Praline cabinetry, Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo polished quartz, a Delta Cassidy Champagne Bronze faucet, Solera White sink, Top Knobs Cumberland and Essex Honey Bronze hardware, and Riad Tile Zellige Glazed Clay 2x6 backsplash. A custom 48-inch range and handcrafted metal hood define the room. Soft white, warm hickory, and handmade clay tile: a kitchen that earns the word organic.

The Story

About This Project

This Brentwood kitchen was boxed in by angled walls and soffits that limited both the layout and the light the room could receive. The homeowners wanted an open, organic kitchen built around natural materials and a custom range hood, not simply a cosmetic refresh of the existing footprint.

Removing the angled walls and soffits was a structural undertaking that had to happen before any material selection mattered: ductwork and framing needed to be rerouted to open the ceiling plane cleanly. A custom 48-inch range and handcrafted metal hood required dedicated ventilation sized correctly for the new open layout, and the handmade Zellige clay tile at the backsplash needed extra installation time to work with its natural variation in size and glaze.

Sebring Design Build's in-house team handled the structural work and finish work as one continuous scope, planned together from the first design pass.

A Home Made New

This Brentwood kitchen carried angled walls and soffits that boxed in a space with real potential. Removing them was the first and most important decision Sebring Design Build made, opening the room into the organic, light-filled kitchen the home deserved.

CWP cabinetry in Swiss Coffee and Hickory Praline sets the material tone: a soft white perimeter against warm wood tones at the island, the pairing that gives the kitchen its organic character. Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo in a polished finish tops the counters with natural-looking movement, while a Delta Cassidy faucet in Champagne Bronze and a Solera White sink complete the working core of the room.

Top Knobs hardware in Cumberland and Essex Honey Bronze finishes ties the cabinetry together, and Riad Tile Zellige in Glazed Clay at 2x6 brings handmade texture to the backsplash. A custom 48-inch range with a handcrafted metal hood gives the kitchen its architectural centerpiece.

Soft white, warm hickory, and handmade clay tile: this is a kitchen that earns the word organic in every material decision, not just the ones you notice first.

Why did this Brentwood kitchen require structural changes before any design work?

What gives this kitchen its organic character?

CWP cabinetry in Swiss Coffee and Hickory Praline pairs a soft white perimeter against warm wood tones at the island, while a custom 48-inch range and handcrafted metal hood required dedicated ventilation sized for the newly opened layout.
