About This Project
The goal of this Horseshoe Bend kitchen remodel was to create a kitchen with the warmth and character of a refined Provençal interior while maintaining the functionality expected from a modern family home. Rather than relying on overly ornate details, the design uses a restrained palette of warm ivory cabinetry, natural stone, traditional hardware, and classic plumbing fixtures to create an inviting sense of permanence.
The cabinetry features Hampton Recessed MDF Panel doors finished in Sherwin-Williams Ivory Lace with a dull rubbed varnish and no glaze. Solid wood slab and recessed-panel drawer fronts use English dovetail construction, while the 1/8-inch radius edge profile keeps the detailing subtle and tailored.
Countertops were selected from two complementary natural-stone directions, Fantasy Brown Marble or Taj Mahal Quartzite, both specified with an ogee edge. Honey Bronze Top Knobs hardware adds warmth, while the Brizo Rook pull-down faucet in Polished Nickel introduces a refined metallic contrast.
The result is a kitchen that feels established rather than trendy, with carefully selected materials giving the space the character of a timeless Provençal-inspired retreat.
