Shawn’s Naperville Master Bathroom Remodel
Project Details
This bathroom remodel was the ultimate gift from a mother to a son! The selection decisions were made with the thought of a more masculine space. Our designers remained conscious of the desired masculinity without going over the top. For instance, we chose to stack the shower wall tile, instead of using the traditional staggered subway wall tile pattern. We added a navy-blue vanity, and incorporated a wood looking tile floor with cool tones. Gray paint was used to remain neutral, but to accentuate the cool tones throughout the space. The biggest transformation was removing the walls around the shower; this allowed a larger shower and more natural light. All in all, making the entire space appear open and airy. The vertical stripes of multi-colored glass were perfect to not only add visual interest in the shower, but also to tie together all of the color selections. During the next update, the millwork will be changed out to white, so stay tuned!
