Our clients loved the scale and openness of their existing kitchen but felt the space lacked warmth, cohesion, and a strong design identity. The oversized island and heavy materials made the kitchen feel dated, while the adjacent bar area lacked both functionality and visual impact. Their goal was to create a more refined, inviting space that better complemented the home’s architecture while enhancing everyday usability and entertaining.

Sebring Design Build approached the remodeling by softening the overall palette and introducing a more balanced mix of materials. The kitchen layout was reworked to improve flow and functionality, anchored by a newly designed island that offers generous prep space, integrated seating, and a more tailored silhouette. Light cabinetry around the perimeter brightens the space, while the darker island base adds contrast and grounds the design.

A custom range hood became a focal point, bringing architectural interest without overpowering the room. Quartz countertops with subtle veining were selected to add movement and elegance, tying together the light and dark elements throughout the kitchen. Updated lighting, including statement pendants over the island, enhances both ambiance and task lighting.

The transformation extends into the bar area, which was completely reimagined as a sophisticated entertaining space. Rich, dark cabinetry, open shelving, and integrated lighting create a dramatic yet functional backdrop for display and storage. Brass fixtures and hardware introduce warmth and continuity between the kitchen and bar, while thoughtful details elevate the overall experience.

Additional features such as improved storage solutions, upgraded appliances, and refined finishes ensure the space is as practical as it is beautiful. The result is a cohesive kitchen and bar that feel elevated, timeless, and perfectly suited for both everyday living and entertaining.
