The hall bathroom doubles as Jennifer and Craig’s son’s bathroom and the guest bathroom, therefore, a more sophisticated and clean look was needed. Although the layout is the same by replacing the bathtub with a walk in shower, it helps open up the space and makes it feel larger. A warm toned wood vanity helps bring warmth into the space, since the tiles are a cool grey color. This helps balance the space nicely while still keeping a sophisticated and classic feel. The vanity now has larger drawers for better storage needs for their son and guest.
The original powder room was very dark and cramped, but now it has a whole new vibe… “vacation chic.” Guests are going to want to excuse themselves just to go check out this space! Even though the dark painted walls remain, there is now a white free standing vanity that helps keep it light and airy. The focal point of this bathroom is obviously the wallpaper with the board and batten wainscotting below. Not only did this help achieve the light and airy feel but it also brings great contrast to the space.
