Kristi’s Naperville Master Bathroom Remodel
Project Details
This homeowner was looking to upgrade her bathroom into a more ‘feminine’ space. A gift to herself if you will. The cow artwork was the primary inspiration for the color scheme. As she wanted to incorporate multiple colors within the piece of art, she went with teal walls and a blush-tinted ceiling. Since the outdated built-in whirlpool tub was never used, it was replaced with a large linen closet for additional storage. A much-needed upgrade. We did keep the homeowner’s current vanity, as it was recently painted and still in a beautiful condition. The countertops were refreshed with a light gray quartz for a sleek, more modern look. In order to give a more spa-like energy to the shower, we pushed back the walls and encased the space with glass. Both of these factors worked to enlarge the space and bring in more natural light. The focal point of this shower is the 3 x 12” field tiles that we installed in a herringbone pattern on the back wall. This pattern absolutely catches your eye as soon as you enter the bathroom. We were also able to save the homeowner money, as she already had left over boxes of marble hexagon tile that were installed on the shower floor. Our designer made sure the tiles flowed flawlessly throughout. Now, this homeowner has the perfect space for herself!
