A Second Hall Bath at Our Columbia Remodel

The second hall bath in the Columbia home takes the home's rich color and texture ambition in a darker direction than the first: where Guest Bath 1 is warm and golden, Guest Bath 2 is deep and grounded. Urbane Bronze CWP Slab cabinetry, Metro Quartz Cemento countertops, Amerock Black Brushed Nickel hardware, and a tile program anchored in dark tones and bold format choices create a bath with a distinctly different character that is nonetheless part of the same design language.

CWP Slab cabinetry in Urbane Bronze provides the vanity with a deep, warm brown-grey painted surface on a door profile with total simplicity. The Slab door places all visual authority in the color, and Urbane Bronze earns that authority: it is a color with genuine depth that reads differently in different light and that improves with proximity. Metro Quartz Cemento in 3 CM with a 4-inch splash provides the countertop in a cool, concrete-toned quartz that recedes correctly against the Urbane Bronze cabinetry and allows the room's tile program to carry the space's visual identity. Amerock Separa pulls in Black Brushed Nickel provide the hardware in a finish that bridges the Urbane Bronze cabinetry and the dark tile palette without pulling toward either.

Daltile Remedy Zen 2x10 in a vertical straight stack with Iron grout covers the tub shower walls: a narrow, elongated tile with a concrete-adjacent Zen colorway installed vertically to create directional movement and contemporary character. Tile Shop Chalk Dark 7x12.5 with Pearl Gray grout covers the floor in a large-format, elongated tile with a dark, chalky tone that grounds the room's dark palette at the floor plane. Tile Bar Kenridge Ribbon Black 24x48 with Black grout on the hook wall provides the room's most dramatic surface: a near-black wood-look accent panel that makes the wall it occupies the room's defining visual moment.
