On a secondary kitchen counter, this choice signals that the space was designed rather than furnished. The partial 3-inch splash shelf integrated into the backsplash edge provides a practical ledge for everyday use without requiring a separate fixture or shelf installation.

The glass backsplash in Patina Siren Mirror Wall Tile from the Kelli Fontana collection is the kitchenette's defining surface. Patina Siren is an iridescent glass tile that reflects and refracts light, shifting between warm and cool tones depending on the source and angle. In a basement kitchenette that may not receive natural light, a reflective backsplash tile serves a functional purpose as much as an aesthetic one: it amplifies the LED lighting installed throughout the space and prevents the back wall from receding into the room.

Delta faucets in Matte Black and Brass finishes provide two metallic notes that carry the basement's broader material palette into this space.
