The Kitchen at Our McGavock Farms Remodel

The kitchen began with a strong foundation - generous square footage, good bones, and a layout that already worked. What it lacked was a clear design identity.

The Sebring team reworked the island first. A white oak rift sawn Mink base brought warmth and natural texture to the center of the room, set against perimeter cabinetry finished in Maison Blanche. The contrast is immediate and deliberate - grounded without being heavy, bright without reading as cold. A Calacatta-style quartz slab with subtle veining ties both tones together, its movement adding visual interest without competing with the cabinetry.

A custom range hood became the room's architectural anchor. Built with proportion to match the scale of the space, it draws the eye upward and gives the kitchen a focal point it previously lacked. Statement pendants over the island add layered light and a moment of jewelry-level detail at eye level.

The Dal Tile Namaste and Thassos Banister mosaic backsplash introduces a fine-grained pattern that rewards close attention without dominating the room. Brass hardware and a brass pull-down faucet run throughout, providing continuity and warmth at every touchpoint.

The result is a kitchen that feels complete - every decision connected, every material earning its place.
