Sebring Design Build refreshed the living room in this Franklin, Tennessee whole house remodel to carry the same transitional-elegant material language established in the kitchen and primary bath. Warm natural tones, refined finishes, and thoughtful details make this a living space that feels genuinely designed as part of the home rather than decorated around it.

About This Space
A living room that has been left behind by the kitchen and primary bath it shares a home with is a room that quietly undermines everything that was invested in the rooms around it. In the home, the living room was brought forward alongside the kitchen and primary bath rather than left as a future project.
The transitional-elegant design language that governs the kitchen and primary bath was the organizing principle here as well. Warm natural material tones, refined but unfussy finishes, and the clean geometry of a space that has been edited rather than merely decorated. A living room done to this standard does not announce itself. It simply makes the home feel complete from every room rather than from two of them.
The material thread that runs through the White Oak cabinetry and Cambria Brittanicca Warm quartz of the kitchen and bath extends into the living room through finish choices and material details that keep the eye moving comfortably between spaces. The result is a home where the quality of the remodel is felt throughout, not concentrated in the rooms where it is most obvious.

Common Questions
Questions Homeowners Ask About This Space
Should a living room be included in a whole house remodel?
When a kitchen and primary bath have been elevated to a transitional-elegant standard, the living room needs to follow or it becomes the room that lowers the bar for the whole home. Refreshing finishes, lighting, and material details in the living room as part of the same project protects the investment made in the other spaces and makes the transformation feel complete.
How does Sebring Design Build approach living room remodels in Franklin?
Sebring approaches living room work as an extension of the home's design language rather than a standalone decorating project. Material selections, finish tones, and lighting are coordinated with the kitchen and bath so the home reads as designed throughout. A fixed-price proposal covers all three rooms before construction begins.
