A frameless walk-in shower replaced the old tub, wrapped in gloss light grey tile that brightens the whole room. A Dune Shaker vanity under creamy Mystique quartz keeps the palette warm, and polished chrome at every faucet and pull adds a crisp, glamorous finish.

About This Space
The Cool Springs primary bath arrived as a room stuck in a decade it had long outgrown: yellow-beige walls, patterned curtains, traditional tile that communicated nothing in particular and a dated tub consuming space it had not earned. The brief was clear. Brightness, glamour and a shower that made the room feel like a retreat rather than a utility.
Shaker Recessed Square cabinetry in Dune provides the vanity with a warm white foundation that reads as luminous without the clinical coldness that bright white can introduce in a bathroom. The Shaker profile suits a modern-creamy primary bath: the recessed panel provides the gentle geometry that a warm palette needs without the ornament that a traditional profile would introduce. Dune's warmth connects naturally to the cream undertones in the Metro Quartz Mystique countertop above it and to the light grey tile program around it.
Metro Quartz Mystique with a Square Edge profile provides the countertop in a surface with soft, swirling movement on a warm white-cream ground. Mystique earns the word polished: it has the quality of a material that rewards a closer look. The Square Edge keeps the profile contemporary and restrained, allowing the material itself to carry the surface's character.
Delta Chrome fixtures throughout and Top Knobs Polished Chrome hardware at every door and drawer bring the room's metallic program into a single bright, reflective finish. Polished Chrome in a bathroom designed around gloss tile and cream cabinetry is a deliberate choice: it amplifies the luminosity of the room and reads as precisely elegant rather than warm or neutral. The shower features frameless glass doors, a walk-in configuration in place of the original tub and gloss and polished light grey 12 x 24 porcelain tile on both the shower walls and the bathroom floor. The large format and reflective finish of the tile make the room read as significantly larger than its footprint and significantly brighter than a matte tile program would allow.
The bathroom that resulted feels restful every time you walk in, and that is what a primary bath built around the word glamorous should do.

Common Questions
Questions Homeowners Ask About This Space
What is Metro Quartz Mystique?
Metro Quartz Mystique is an engineered quartz with a warm white-to-cream ground and soft, swirling movement that reads as polished and elegant rather than stark or cool. In a bathroom designed around brightness, it gives the countertop the visual warmth of natural stone with the durability and consistency of quartz, and the Square Edge profile keeps it contemporary.
What is Dune cabinetry finish?
Dune is a warm white-adjacent paint finish that reads as bright without being cold or clinical, with enough warmth to connect naturally to cream countertops and light tile. On Shaker Recessed Square cabinetry in a primary bath, it gives the vanity a refined, fresh and enduring look that pairs easily with polished chrome hardware.
Why replace a tub with a walk-in shower?
When a tub goes unused, a walk-in shower gives that space back to daily life. Frameless glass keeps sight lines open, so the room feels larger, and an open entry makes the shower easy to use every day.
