About This Space
The Chenoweth kitchen was designed around a premise that most kitchen remodels approach tentatively: warmth is not a compromise. In a market where white-and-grey kitchens dominated for a decade, the Brentwood homeowners came to Sebring Design Build with a clear direction, White Oak, Coffee stain, Unlacquered Brass, and a custom hood that would command the cooking wall. The result is a kitchen that reads as both distinctly of this moment and enduringly correct.
CWP Classic Square Raised Solid Wood Panel cabinetry in White Oak with a Coffee stain and Marginal Overlay provides the room's dominant surfaces in one of the most heritage-influenced cabinetry decisions the CWP program offers. The raised center panel is a door construction associated with fine furniture and traditionally crafted millwork: the panel rises above the frame rail rather than sitting flush or recessing behind it, creating a three-dimensional door surface with shadow lines and depth that a flat or recessed panel cannot produce. White Oak's open grain and natural warmth suit the raised panel format precisely, the grain variation reads beautifully at the three-dimensional surface where light hits it differently at different angles. Coffee stain deepens the White Oak to a rich, warm brown that reads as grounded and substantive rather than golden or rustic. Crown molding in CWP Jordans Crown profile extends the cabinetry from counter to ceiling with the traditional architectural detail that a heritage kitchen with this level of cabinetry ambition requires.
A custom brass range hood is the room's focal point and its most singular design decision. Fabricated with a 6-inch PVD Polished Brass band as the defining horizontal element, the hood's warm metallic presence above the cooking wall establishes the kitchen's identity from the moment of entry. The hood is the room's architectural statement and its clearest communication of the design direction: warm, handcrafted, and committed. Unlacquered Brass hardware, Ball Cabinet Knobs at the upper cabinets and doors, Hans 4-inch Drawer Pulls at the standard drawer positions, and Massey Drawer Pulls in 8-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch at the deeper and wider drawers, appears at every cabinetry contact point in a finish that will develop a natural patina over time. Unlacquered Brass hardware is the material equivalent of the cabinetry choice: genuine, warm, and better with age.
MSI Calcutta Versailles 3CM polished quartz provides the countertops in a white-ground surface with soft, flowing veining that reads as luminous alongside the warm Coffee cabinetry. At 3 CM, the countertop has the visual weight that heritage cabinetry with crown molding and raised panels requires: a countertop that reads as substantial rather than standard. The Davoli pull-down faucet in French Gold PVD and the matching hot water dispenser bring the room's most-handled water fixtures into a warm gold finish that connects to the Unlacquered Brass hardware without requiring a match. The Liven 33-inch dual-mount sink in Soft White provides the kitchen's primary workspace basin in a color that connects to the Calcutta Versailles countertop while providing the apron-adjacent presence of a large, white sink.
Additional design details, glass-front cabinetry, custom shelving with solid brass brackets, and an arched beverage and bar niche with glass shelving, give the kitchen its personality beyond its primary material program. The arched niche is the room's most residential element: a shaped architectural opening with glass shelving that reads as both functional and designed, a space for the everyday objects that make a kitchen feel like someone's home rather than a showroom. The T4-D Nature White 8-inch porcelain backsplash with Schluter Bright White High Pencil Liner trim covers the kitchen walls in a clean white tile at the scale where tile reads as a wall material rather than a pattern. Leona Checkerboard Matte Porcelain 24x24 in Calacatta and Marfil on the floor provides the room's base plane with the heritage floor reference that the kitchen's overall design language calls for: a two-color checkerboard in large format, warm and bright simultaneously, and unmistakably the floor of a home that knows what it is.

Common Questions
Questions Homeowners Ask About This Space
What is CWP Classic Square Raised Solid Wood Panel cabinetry in White Oak Coffee?
Classic Square Raised Solid Wood Panel is a CWP door style with a raised center panel in solid wood rather than a flat or recessed surface. In White Oak, the raised panel exposes the distinctive open grain of oak with the warmth and character that a heritage-influenced kitchen requires. A Coffee stain deepens the White Oak to a rich, warm brown that reads as traditional without being dark or heavy. The raised panel profile is one of the most crafted-quality door styles in the CWP program, and in White Oak Coffee it provides a cabinetry surface that rewards close attention.
What is MSI Calcutta Versailles quartz?
MSI Calcutta Versailles is an engineered quartz with a soft white ground and elegant, flowing veining in the Calacatta tradition. At 3 CM thickness in a polished finish, it provides a countertop with the visual weight and luminosity that a heritage kitchen with substantial White Oak cabinetry and brass hardware requires. The warm veining in Calcutta Versailles connects naturally to the Coffee stain on the cabinetry and the French Gold fixture program without requiring an exact color match.
What is the Leona Checkerboard floor tile?
Leona Checkerboard is a 24x24 inch matte porcelain tile in a two-color checkerboard pattern combining Calacatta and Marfil colorways. At 24x24, each square is large enough to read as an architectural floor element rather than a decorative pattern. The checkerboard layout references a classic heritage floor tradition in a contemporary large-format scale. In a kitchen with warm White Oak Coffee cabinetry and brass hardware, the Calacatta-and-Marfil combination provides a bright, patterned floor that earns the room's transitional-heritage identity at the ground plane.
