Project Details

This bathroom is all about clean line and contrast! The homeowners wanted to make sure that their bathroom flows nicely with the rest of the house, therefore the vanity and layout remained the same. Even though these things remained the same, as you can see from the pictures it was still a complete transformation. Dark shiplap was used on the walls but to offset the dark walls, light countertops, light colored tile and a white tub were chosen to help balance the space. By removing the built-in bathtub and replacing it with a free standing tub, it made the space feel larger and more open. To help keep clean lines, no niches were installed in the shower and subway tile was selected for the shower walls. This updated contrasting bathroom flows well with the rest of the house, but still gives the homeowners a nice and relaxing bathroom to start and end their day in.

The existing cabinetry remained.
